The Eastbourne Trades Council now has a library of books and resources, available for loan free to local trade unionists.
As well as books and leaflets on all aspects of employment law and rights, we also have a range of books on labour movement history, politics, economics and other issues of interest to trade union activists.
A selection of books are available for loan at the Trades Council meetings and events- and others can be borrowed on request. There is no fee to join, but we ask that members register before they borrow, and agree to pay for the replacement of any lost books !
The library is stocked mainly by books that are lent to us by local trade unionists- in trust, to help with the political and industrial education of other trade union members. If you would like to lend any of your books for this purpose, please e-mail the secretary by clicking here.
